What role do you play Jesus Christ Superstar?
I play the Apostle Thomas, as well as a Banana Republican, a leper, and a rich wealthy dancing singing banker.
What is something unique that you do in this show?
Hmm… I have the biggest teeth!
So I like to show them off, You can see them from the back row!
What is your favorite moment in the show?
Tough question, but it would have to be the first 15 minutes, once I start dancing I really am in the middle of beautiful chaos, and it gives you the best natural high. All I can think about once the overture starts is how much I love my job.
This is an intense show, did you need to do anything specific to prepare for your role?
I always have to remind myself that there is no stopping once I begin, other shows allow you breaks and a few minutes to sit down, but as an apostle in this show I barley have time to wipe the sweat off my face. It’s a 90 minute dancing, singing, roller coaster that I get the privilege to ride 7 times a week!
If you could describe what you think the show experience is like to someone considering attending, how would you do so in 20 words or less?
I personally feel that the show is a almost like a ride, you are literally thrown right into the action and are a part of the story as much as the actors. We use the audience a lot and love to really get up close and include them in the story.
